Program name: Fibers Neurological Institute Patient Messaging.

Program description: When you provide your mobile number and consent, Fibers Neurological Institute sends text messages (SMS, MMS and RCS) about your care: appointment confirmations and reminders, links to intake, consent and other documents to review and sign, care instructions, follow-up and satisfaction check-ins, and replies to questions you send us. You can also text us to reach the office.

Message frequency: varies with your care. Most patients receive a few messages around each visit.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details of your plan.

To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again. Opting out of texts does not affect your care; we will contact you by phone or mail instead.

How you opt in: by ticking the text message consent box on our intake or appointment forms, by telling our staff you agree to receive texts, which we record in your chart with the date and the staff member's name, or by texting us first.

Carriers: supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
